After having spent three weeks on the beautiful island of Bermuda, I can safely say that it was hard to limit myself to only 15 photos. Filled with history, stunning beaches, and a little bit of mystery (hello Bermuda Triangle!), there is so much to do that Bermuda is worth a visit.

Situated in the Atlantic Ocean, Bermuda is only a short flight from any of the major airports on the East Coast of the United States. You’ll begin your journey in Hamilton. As it’s the capital, it’s a great jumping off point for your vacation. Wander Front Street for your own pair of authentic Bermuda shorts or visit City Hall and Fort Hamilton. Certainly one of my favorite experiences was having afternoon tea at the Hamilton Princess Hotel. The teas, the sandwiches and the tasty treats were all delicious

Now that you’ve seen Hamilton, start to explore other parts of the island. Head over next to the Royal Navy Dockyard and see what Bermuda’s most visited site is. Between the historical sites, shopping, and restaurants, you could easily spend a couple of hours there!

Although you could spend a week just exploring Hamilton, try to also visit other Parishes. My favorite is the town of St. George where you can visit St. Peter’s Church and King’s square. You are also within walking distance to the Unfinished Church, Fort St. Catherine, and the beach at Tobacco Bay. On the way there though, stop and visit the Crystal Caves and Fantasy Caves to take in these natural wonders.  If you would rather just enjoy the nature that Bermuda has to offer, head to the famous Horseshoe Beach, or take a walk back in time on the Railroad Trails.

Finally, to rest your head each night, I will always recommend the Rosewood Bermuda Hotel in Tucker’s Point. A beautifully situated resort between Hamilton and St. George, it has everything at your fingertips. Don’t forget to try a Rum Swizzle at one of their restaurants. This rum based drink is the official drink of Bermuda!

From city streets to amazing beaches, I hope these 15 photos inspire you to visit to Bermuda!

You can go to heaven if you want. I’d rather stay in Bermuda.
