Hi! I’m Stephanie! I would first like to say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to explore my blog. I’m not going to lie, it’s hard work developing and organizing this site, but I’m thrilled to share one of my passions with you – travelling. As it is, I’m a corporate 9-5’er with a full time passion for traveling the world. In addition to this love, I’m also an animal lover and cat mom to my tabby cat Emerson, a yoga enthusiast and amateur foodie!
I first started travelling at a very early age. Born on the island of Curacao, my home was on the neighboring island of Bonaire. With that being said, I’ve been flying since I was a few days old. You might be asking yourself now, where are you talking about Stephanie? Well, Curacao and Bonaire are islands that are an extension of the Kingdom of the Netherlands located 25 miles north of Venezuela. I’m Dutch-American by birth and other than a six year stint in the Northeast of the United States, Florida has been my home. I’ve lived at both ends and now call Central Florida home.
I was lucky enough to travel to 36 countries prior to beginning The Life of a Tourist. I invite you to continue with me on this journey. This journey of discovering the world and creating a lifetime of new memories, all while working in corporate America!
