Beauty Travel Hacks

Beauty Travel Hacks

As a frequent traveler, I’m always looking for ways to make things easier for me because traveling can be very stressful. Any little thing that I can do to either make getting ready faster or having proper storage solutions for products I want to bring, I am here for!

Here are my top five beauty travel hacks that make traveling easier for me.

Mascara Brush

Do you remember when Sephora offered free in-store makeup tutorials? I’ll never forget, I wanted to learn how to properly create a smokey eye and the makeup artist showed me this trick. I accidentally blinked after he put mascara on me and I managed to smudge the mascara. He told me not to worry because when it’s dry, I’ll take this brush and just brush it away. My mind was blown – he actually just brushed the mascara away!

Cleaning Your Makeup Sponges

Cleaning makeup sponges is as easy as using a bar of soap and hot water! However, did you know that you can incorporate this genius hack at home or while you’re traveling. Simply use a bar of soap and hot water and scrub your makeup sponge. You’ll be amazed at how clean it gets!

Makeup Hacks

I love buying makeup that has a dual purpose. I feel like I’m getting two things for the price of one. For example, bronzer is not just a bronzer. You can use it as an eyeshadow and a highlighter, in addition to its original purpose. Here are some additional favorites of mine:

Travel Mirror

A good travel mirror has saved me more times than not. You’ll be surprised at how often I’ve had to use it. When I’m traveling with friends and they’re occupying the bathroom, I don’t have to wait to put on makeup and/or do my skincare routine. The fact that it lights up makes it even better in my opinion!

Storage Options

I am a sucker for organization hacks. Having good makeup storage, a jewelry organizer and a way for me to bring my favorite perfume without stacking up the pounds in my suitcase are a lifesaver.
